Vet Nurse - Greencross Mount Gravatt

The Mount Gravatt team are seeking an experienced Vet Nurse to join on a Part-time basis!

We are looking forward to welcoming a Vet Nurse who is passionate, committed, and eager to develop their knowledge and skills in this supportive and friendly environment. We love to go the extra mile to ensure that all our pet parents and their wonderful animals get the best possible experience when they visit our clinic!

We also have a great relationship with the Petbarn team who are conveniently located under the same roof! This also allows for a steady stream of cross-referrals and helps achieve a truly positive experience for all our clients and their pets - and with the Animal Emergency Centre covering the night care of our patients, there areno afterhours required for this role!

What you’ll be doing each day

  • Part-time roleundertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
  • Performing minor procedures when required
  • Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
  • Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone

What you’ll bring

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with a min. 2+ years clinical experience
  • Applicants must be confident with surgery
  • An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
  • A calm and friendly attitude
  • Flexible and adaptable within a team environment
  • Experience with Rx works (preferred but not essential)
