About the Role

Senior Registrar - Obstetrics & Gynaecology 2025 Clinical Year

Albury Wodonga Health has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Registrar in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join our O&G team for the 2025 clinical year. This position suits a Level 5 or 6 trainee who wishes to improve their gynaecological surgery skills, operative obstetrics, reproductive medicine and ultrasound. The position is recognised as the busiest gynaecological surgery position in Australia, with ample operating experience. We are able to offer vaginal surgery, advanced laparoscopy (including total laparoscopic hysterectomies and Stage IV endometriosis procedures), regular IVF exposure, as well as birthsuite management within a multi-disciplinary environment unique to Wodonga.

The role is available to Registrars who have completed their written and oral MRANZCOG. The department is vibrant and supportive, well-known for our comaraderie. The successful applicant will have a busy gynaecology workload with a wide range of procedures performed. It would be expected that significant experience will be achieved in operative obstetrics including rotational forceps and also training in assisted reproduction with consulting and performance of procedures. This position is an outstanding opportunity to gather practical and operative skills and is well regarded by those who have previously occupied the role. There is no requirement for weekend on call.
