About The Role
Our client, a leading healthcare facility based in Metro South QLD, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Sonographer to join their dynamic team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art department that offers a wide range of services including Obstetrics, Gynae, Paediatrics, Vascular, Breast, basic MSK, General, and Small parts.
Responsibilities

• Fulfil the accountabilities and responsibilities of this role in accordance with our client's purpose and objectives.
• Staffing and budget responsibilities.
• Ensure patients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds.
• Lead and manage staff by fostering and committing to patient safety and quality in the delivery of healthcare by maintaining and evaluating safety and quality practices and initiatives.
• Exercise independent professional decision making to manage Radiographic, CT and Ultrasound clinical procedures and complex caseloads.
• Perform duties with a high degree of independence and assumes individual accountability for actions in regards to clinical and operational work practice, patient care and safety.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Sonography or equivalent.
• Current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
• Extensive experience in Obstetrics, Gynae, Paediatrics, Vascular, Breast, basic MSK, General, and Small parts ultrasound examinations (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proficiency in working with digital worksheet/reporting systems, such as Sonoreview.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and their families.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry best practices.
