Established in 1994, Pilbara Meta Maya Regional Aboriginal Corporation is a not-for-profit organisation who provides essential, and community services to remote Aboriginal communities across the Pilbara, Gascoyne, and Mid-West regions of Western Australia. 

Do you like adventure and travel? Then this may be the role for you! We have an exciting opportunity based in Port Hedland for a Supervisor to assist with delivering our municipal services program for the communities that we service. You will be supported by a cohesive team working with other departments in a dynamic organisation. You will be required to travel and stay out in communities on a regular basis.

Responsibilities as the supervisor includes the coordination of:

  • A small number of staff
  • Providing waste management services to communities
  • Basic maintenance and gardening/landscaping in community areas
  • Manage land around vital assets, and airstrip maintenance

What you will bring to the role:

  • Supervisory experience 
  • Liaising with sub-contractors and community members
  • A hard-working positive attitude
  • Physically fit to meet the inherent requirements of the role
  • Excavator ticket (or willing to obtain)
