A fantastic opportunity exists for a passionate veterinarian who is looking for their next career move. We are seeking a Full-time (or Part-time) Veterinarian to join our network of experienced, fun and friendly vets within a happy and cohesive work environment.

We focus on offering our clients the best in medicine and surgery and collaborate closely with our larger Greencross team. Within the clinic we have an experienced team of veterinarians, our experienced Veterinary Director has been practicing for over 20 years, and we have senior associates with a vast array of interests, including, but not limited to, behaviour, dentistry, medicine (membership qualified and residency trained), and advanced ultrasonography. The veterinary team is supported by a passionate and enthusiastic nursing team, most of whom have achieved their CertIV qualifications and are now mentoring the rest of the team. Our practice manager has over 20 years’ experience in the industry and ensures that each day runs as smoothly as possible (well as good as it can in the vet world!).
Our purpose-built clinic offers 3 consult rooms, large hospital area, patient ward, hydro-bathing facilities, isolation facilities, cat ward, kennel room, dedicated sterile surgical theatre, office/break room.
We are equipped with digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, orthopaedic kits, cautery and suction. We are also within proximity to emergency and specialty centres and rehabilitation services ensuring we can offer around the clock service and the best possible outcome for our clients and their pets.
Job Description

We Are Looking For
  • Experienced and Passionate Vet with 3 years’ experience;
  • Compassionate vet with a strong patient focus;
  • Accountable and proactive attitude with effective time management;
  • Demonstrated capacity to make confident well considered decisions;
  • Have a good understanding of feline and canine medicine and a passion for animal welfare;
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills – able to assist with mentoring a new graduate;
  • A focus on continued improvement and active involvement in continuing education;
  • Ability to work well within a team-based environment;
  • A surgical interest will be strongly favoured.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards’ Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations. For further information, please refer to Information
