About the role

Grampians Health Stawell is inviting applications for a full time or part time Physiotherapist to work within our dynamic and innovative team. The successful physiotherapist would be supported by the physiotherapy and multidiscipline team to provide quality and timely service to the community. This position is a mixed caseload with rotations including:

  • Inpatient general medicine and post-operative care
  • Inpatient subacute rehabilitation and Transition Care Program
  • Acute and Community outpatients
  • Sports injury Management
  • Aged Care – excluding pain management programs
  • Group programs such as Better Balance, Hydrotherapy, and GLA:D
  • Rotations to other hospital sites

Grade 2 candidates will be required to undertake supervision of Grade 1 Physiotherapist and students. Grade 2 candidates will also be required to participate in quality improvement projects within Physiotherapy and the broader Multi-disciplinary team.

Skills and experience

This position would be suitable for a new graduate or experienced clinician.
The successful applicant would require

  • Degree in Physiotherapy with current unlimited AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated ability in providing a service to acute hospital, community outpatients and rehabilitation, and aged care settings.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
  • Demonstrate experience in undertaking quality improvement activities, or knowledge of quality improvement principles
  • Demonstrated initiative, flexibility and problem-solving skills and ability to operate in an environment of change.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication, time management, and organisational skills
