Registered Nurse

Pearl Home Care Gold Coast is a small but experienced, family-owned community service provider that offers the best in professional and affordable in-home aged and disability care.

We are currently seeking multiple experienced, committed and qualified Registered Nurses travelling to clients’ homes within the Gold Coast and Greater Logan region working alongside our clients enhancing their health/well-being and enabling them to stay in their own homes. You will need to be friendly, positive, and determined to make a difference. You need to demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy, and treating others with dignity and respect. You’ll be a natural relationship builder, honest, helpful, and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.

We are offering casual roles with a view to permanent part-time for suitable candidates. Our ideal candidates will have availability across the 7-day roster with hours worked between 7:00am – 6:00pm, but we are flexible to fit in with your work/life balance.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical delivery and supervision of clinical and non-clinical team members in a community setting
  • Intake processing, clinical care planning and reporting
  • Conducting client care assessments
  • Supervision and management of care staff
  • Schedule appointments and in-home services to appropriate staff based on discipline, availability and geographical requirements
  • Coordinate the provision of quality person-centred care according to the client’s needs, service/care plans and available funding in accordance with budget
  • Clinical in-home services include care plan assessment, medication, incontinence, chronic disease, complex wound management, palliative care, and diabetes
  • General administration with respect to tasks performed
Qualifications
  • Qualified Registered / EEN Nurse
  • Current AHPRA registered
  • Australian National Police check
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Experienced in assessing and planning care needs within the community
  • Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable, presentable car
