Within the Hospitals North Framework, and in accordance with Agency Policies and Procedures, the Physiotherapist will:• Provide physiotherapy assessments and interventions to patients referred to thePhysiotherapy Department based at the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) andservices supplied from that department.• Participate in relevant quality improvement activities to ensure safe and effectivedelivery of patient care.• Provide patient care collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinaryteam across relevant areas of the LGH as required.

Details of Appointment: Fixed term from 15 th July- 13 th December 2024

Working 25 hours per fortnight, day workposition (with on-call)

Salary: $75,473- $107,878per annum + 11% superannuation(Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2022)

Salary Packaging: Access to a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year

Relocation Assistance: Can be negotiated.

Professional Development: $1,000 per annum entitlement for professional development course fees (daily wage, flights, accommodation, daily allowance paid in addition to this)

  • notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
  • Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
  • Registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia

*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.

Travel within the northern region of Tasmania may be required
