Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, supporting patient recovery, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.

  • Develop and implement nursing care plans.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

  • Monitor patient progress and respond to emergencies.

  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.

  • Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Essential Requirements:
  • Work Experience : Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Registered Nurse.

  • Education : Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent qualification recognized by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).

  • Registration : Current registration with the NMBA.

  • English Language Proficiency : Valid score in IELTS, OET, PTE Academic, or TOEFL iBT if applicable.

  • Criminal History Check : A clear national criminal history check.

  • Professional Development : Engagement in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.

  • Insurance : Appropriate professional indemnity insurance arrangements.

  • Legal Work Status : Eligibility to work in Australia (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications : Additional certifications in areas of specialization (e.g., Critical Care, Pediatrics, Gerontology).

  • Skills : Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

NOTE:
Internationally qualified nurses may be required to undertake a competency assessment if their qualifications and experience are not deemed equivalent to an Australian-trained nurse. This assessment can be in the form of an Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE) or a bridging program, which includes both theoretical and clinical components.
