About Ashton’s Place & Autism Connect Early (ACE)

The Autism Connect Early (ACE) Programme offers Early Childhood Support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who are experiencing developmental delay. The ACE programme has been developed by Ashton’s Place, a not for profit organisation that aims to provide early childhood support to children within the childcare and kindergarten environment.

The ACE Programme is a transdisciplinary early intervention program within a long daycare centre for autistic children aged 3-6. Running alongside the mainstream Kindergarten Programme, the ACE Programme follows an autism specific curriculum in a 1:2 -1:4 teacher - student ratio. The programme aims to promote skill development and meaningful participation in the early childhood setting using naturalistic supports. We aim to meet children where they are at; offer individualised regulation supports; build social connection and relationships; and support them to achieve their individualised goals.
