About The Role
Our Health and Wellness team at The Pines is seeking a Physiotherapist passionate about health and wellness for older adults. This role works in a supportive, multi-disciplinary environment that embraces evidence based, best practice to support clients back to their best health.
In this role you will help to maximise clients’ health and well-being, using physiotherapy practice, regardless of the clients age, disease or disability.
Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Applying quality physiotherapy diagnostic and treatments skills, to the needs and wants of our clients.
  • Contributing positively to multi-disciplinary care planning for our clients.
  • Engaging in case conferencing and problem-solving of complex care needs.
  • Proactively deliver evidence-based reablement pathways to ensure client physical, social and mental health benefits.
  • Demonstrated willingness to mentor students and to increase your personal skill set.

About You
We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
  • A Bachelor (or Master Degree) in Physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated broad relevant experience with an understanding of clinical practices in an aged care setting.
  • Experience in person-centred practice, service continuous improvement, evidence based treatment and service delivery.
  • Interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills that foster the co-operation and support of clients, staff, external service providers and other stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of the requirements of the Aged Care Standards as are applicable to the role.
  • A current Driver's Licence is essential.
