Enrolled Nurse - Mt Hutton

Job detail: Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN)

Due to recent and continued growth we are searching for a skilled and enthusiastic individual, interested in working in a dynamic accommodation setting. This will be based in Mt Hutton (Newcastle region).

You will be required to deliver quality customer nursing and support services in line with our Clinical Governance Framework and Northcott Values. You will promote improvement in quality of life and foster independence for people with disability who have a range of functional abilities and complex needs.

This role would be suited to those with a genuine desire to promote the independence and inclusion in society of people with disability, as well as a desire to support unique individuals to have a voice, choice, and exercise control over their own lives to achieve their individual goals.

You will need
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent holding a current Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN)
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • NSW Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain
  • NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain
  • Driver's Licence
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the NSW Disability Standards
  • Knowledge of WHS principles including safe manual handling procedures

*Pay rates are determined by the total number of hours worked as an endorsed enrolled nurse.
