The Occupational Therapy Unit is looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist – Rehabilitation/GEMITH to join their team on a temporary basis. Bring your unique abilities and experiences to our healthcare team.

As the Senior Occupational Therapist - Rehabilitation/GEMITH, you will deliver high quality evidenced based Occupational Therapy clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning interprofessional team. This includes:

  • Managing an allocated workload to deliver Occupational Therapy services, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation within an interprofessional team in accordance with established clinical & departmental protocols, policies and procedures, utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards.
  • Utilising high level communication and interpersonal skills to achieve optimal patient and service delivery outcomes.
  • Providing education, direction and supervision for routine tasks to less experienced staff, students and support staff, with the support of senior clinical staff.
