ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a forward-thinking individual to lead a team of disability support professionals in delivering high-quality, personalised support services to our clients. The responsibilities of the position include:

Managing sites for clients, staff and visitors, which includes the site being well presented, well maintained and meeting compliance standards.

Lead the development, implementation, and review of each client’s comprehensive person-centred plan.

Ensure the record keeping and documentation at each house is complete and accurate and in accordance with Unisson Disability’s policies and procedures and relevant Client Management System.

Where required participate in processes related to the use of Restricted Practices.

Provide support to clients to prepare for and attend NDIS Plan Review meetings, ensure all relevant support documentation and evidence is available and attend to actively participate or advocate for the client.

Maintain and continuously improve staff skills through observation, feedback, and coaching. 

Ensure continuity of service through planned staff leave and timely recruitment of new staff in collaboration with the Scheduling Team and the Talent Acquisition Team.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

2-3 years’ experience working in a leadership-based role in Disability Sector is highly desirable. 

Willingness to participate in flexible working hours including on call, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

High levels of enthusiasm, initiative, and a positive attitude. Is reliable, team focused and committed to achieving excellence in the Disability sector.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication, organisation, presentation, and leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop these skills in others.

Emotional intelligence, resilience, and capacity to perform the work required .

Commitment to the values, vision and mission of Unisson Disability including leadership and implementation.
