Physiotherapist - Casual weekend opportunity at Bruce Private

  • Provide physiotherapy services within the Medical, Surgical and Orthopaedic under the direction and guidance of the relevant Senior Physiotherapist.
  • Provide clinical supervision, support and direction to less senior physiotherapists, students and Allied Health Assistants as directed by the senior Physiotherapist.

About the role

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our team in a casual part-time capacity covering weekends.
  • This position will predominantly be acute surgical inc. orthopaedic and medical caseloads.
  • 12 months experience preferred.

About you

  • An appropriate degree in Physiotherapy
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Effective communication & interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated competence as a clinician through work experience and/or student placements
  • Well-developed time management skills
  • Willingness to participate in a weekend/holiday roster
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of the skills required for this position. This includes knowledge and understanding of appropriate equipment, legislation, policies and procedures
  • Practice in accordance with Calvary and relevant Government Health policies and procedures, the position description, Code of Conduct and industrial agreements.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate as an active member of a multidisciplinary team, consistent with the philosophy and policies of the Organisation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including demonstrated experience in liaising with a wide range of internal and external clients.
