About you

Calvary Riverina private hospital in Wagga Wagga, NSW, of 165 beds that provides a range of services to the Riverina community including Calvary Riverina Surgicentre, our award winning Drug and Alcohol Centre, and Maternity and Women’s Health Services.

We provide specialist palliative care for acute patients and, as a member of the Palliative Care Alliance, have established links withhospice and home-based community palliative services for both public and private patients.

Witheight modern operating theatres across two campuses, Calvary Riverina Hospital provides both day and overnight surgical medical services and for more critically ill patients, we provide Intensive Care, Coronary Care and High Dependency units.

We have developed a structured Graduate Nurse Program is a 12 month program which includes a thorough orientation, five fully funded study days and monthly debrief and reviews throughout the year and 2 rotations during the year within the hospital.

The Graduate Nurse Program aims to:

  • Identify your learning needs
  • Consolidate and apply your clinical knowledge and skills
  • Develop your confidence and competence as a newly registered nurse or midwife
  • Support you to work as an effective member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Encourage you to develop advanced, critical-thinking processes

  • Australian citizenshp or permanent residency
