Enrolled Nurse - Bunbury

We are currently seeking experienced Enrolled Nurses to providesupport to residents at our Bethanie Elanora Aged Care Facilitylocated in Bunbury. Bethanie Elanora in Bunbury is an 81 bedfacility located close to the beach, offering some of the best agedcare facilities in the area along with secure dementia care onsite.

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide hands-on care toresidents while supporting and mentoring a multi-skilled team witha focus on learning and safety.

We have two roles to fill - one casual position to providecoverage for leave, and a permanent part time position workingnight shifts across the following roster:

Week 1 Wednesday, Thursday, Friday andSaturday 10pm - 7.15am
Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday, Friday andSaturday 10pm - 7.15am

The Role

  • Carrying out nursing care plans in consultation with andunder the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Consulting with a Registered Nurse in planning care on ashift basis
  • Implementing care plans as documented
  • Assisting in assessing residents within the ACFI criteriaand ensuring all documentation is up to date and in accordancewith company requirements
  • Communicating effectively with a variety of people andcontributing to teamwork within the workplace
  • Participating in continuing personal development andeducation

About You

  • Current registration with the Australian HealthPractitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an EnrolledNurse
  • Previous experience with dementia care would be anadvantage
  • Ability to work independently and professionally
  • Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive workenvironment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to a person-centred care approach when providingcare services
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness toapply for one
  • Willingness to obtain any relevant vaccinationsrequired
