Veolia ANZ is seeking a health and safety advisor to be based in Lithgow 2790. As the health and safety advisor you will be responsible for maximising company safety performance through audit, engagement, training, investigation and continuous improvement.

Providing expert health, safety and compliance advice, guidance and support to management and staff. Driving Veolia’s safety first and continuous improvement culture by looking for innovative solutions to common risks. Coaching and influencing management and staff in understanding and successfully executing responsibilities consistent with the company’s safety expectations. Supporting the successful implementation of safety initiatives. Coordinating reviews and facilitating changes to Safe Work Procedures, Risk Assessments and safety Management Plans; Ensuring performance objectives / outcomes are achieved within agreed timeframes. Building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders. Arranging regular site visits to ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Formal qualifications in WHS, Environment and/or Sustainability, preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
