In this role, you provide direct women centred nursing/midwifery care and/or individual case management to women/families in a defined clinical area with increasing autonomy over time. You will assess individual women/family's needs, plan, implement and/or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options including other disciplines or agencies.

What better way to know more about being a midwife within YNLHN, than the words of a midwife who moved to work with us, from the city to “give it a go” and who fell in love with the work, the area (and sometimes with their heart). Read about 'Maddie's' experience here .

We are so privileged to be working with such a passionate and dedicated group of midwives just like Maddie, why not come and join us, you won’t look back.
