Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 2 Physiotherapist experienced in acute care to join the Allied Health team at Epworth Freemasons on a fixed term, part time (0.4 FTE) basis. The successful candidate will be a competent clinician with a broad range of acute hospital experience. In this role you will predominantly be working across the surgical and ICU wards and report to the Physiotherapy Team Leader. You will also undertake non-clinical duties including supervising Grade 1/AHA staff and students and contributing to team research, quality projects and portfolios. To be successful in this role you will be a high performing Grade 2 Physiotherapist with a special interest in acute physiotherapy and the care of cardiorespiratory and surgical patients. Your previous achievements will demonstrate a strong focus on your patients, teams, continuous professional development and quality improvement.

You will have:

  • Current physiotherapy registration with AHPRA
  • Experience working in an acute hospital
  • Experience supervising junior staff and students
