About the role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment in the Cardiac Centre at Lenah Valley.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring a high level of customer service is continually offered to our patients in the fast paced environment
  • Provision of quality Cardiac testing services within the Cardiac Centre
  • To provide support & services to practice cardiologist
  • Participation in OH&S manual handling training
  • Appropriate management of mandatory training

What you bring

  • High level of customer service provision
  • ECG interpretation knowledge
  • Previous coronary care or cardiology experience would be highly valued
  • AHPRA Registration with a current practising certificate
  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
  • Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
