We are currently seeking a motivated Work Health and Safety Administrator to join our newly created team as part of the People, Performance and Culture team.
Purpose of the WHS Administrator role 
The WHS Administrator plays a pivotal role in providing effective and accurate administrative support to the WHS Team. This position ensures timely and compliant responses to enquiries, facilitates the smooth operation of injury management and return-to-work processes, and supports the WHS team in coordinating site visits, inspections, and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the WHS inbox. 
  • Support administrative processes related to Injury Management and Return to Work, liaising effectively with the Return-to-Work Coordinator and People Performance Partners. 
  • Coordinate and support regular site visits, inspections, and WHS audits in collaboration with operational teams. 
  • Assist the WHS Coordinator in conducting simple WHS inspections and investigations as directed. 
  • Participate in audit activities and WHS program initiatives. 
  • Monitor, update and maintain accuracy of WHS databases and registers for reporting across systems. 
  • Support the WHS Team in gathering information for initiatives or projects as required. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on the Safety Hub or Achieve Intranet.

To be successful in this role, you will need: 
  • Relevant certificate IV or above in WHS or relevant experience.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities effectively. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal customers and external stakeholders. 
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data management and reporting. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and independently when required. 
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skills and knowledge in Work Health and Safety administration is highly regarded.
