Registered Nurse - Terrace Gardens

Due to internal movement, ARRCS are currently sourcing 2 x qualified Registered Nurses (RN) to support the team and residents at Terrace Gardens Aged Care Facility, located in Palmerston Terrace Gardens is a residential aged care facility housing 88 beds.

Opportunities are being offered preferably on a full-time basis (38 hours per week) and attracts a penalty driven rate of $42.30 - $44.43 / hour gross base (dependent of skills and experience) – Plus salary packaging.

This role of Registered Nurse will see you providing clinical care to our elderly residents. You will have care and compassion in your interaction and be someone who enjoys working a hands-on role whilst also leading and supporting more junior staff including our Support Workers to develop their skills and ensure as an organisation we are focused on quality care for our residents.

Skills and experience

We will be reviewing applications who are able to demonstrate the following:

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.
  • Full rights to work in Australia.
  • Ability to liaise with a care team and to provide coordinated care.
  • Knowledge of contemporary nursing practice.
  • Demonstrated understanding of resident centred and residential based care services delivery.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural care team in a range of settings.
  • Experienced in effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills.
