Background -
You will be joining a well-known, long-established GP Training Practice in picturesque Devon.
With a pretty market-town setting, you'll enjoy working with a varied population offering a little bit of everything.
A real work/life balance practice, the Partnership have made numerous changes for the better in recent times aimed at making their GPs lives easier, namely the session template which is now an attractive 12 patients per session.
GPs requiring Tier 2 visa sponsorship, newly qualifying GPs and experienced GPs are all welcomed to apply. For those interested in Partnership, there is no buy-in and the premises are leased, making it very accessible without the huge financial input often required.
Salary - £11,000 - £11,500 per session plus indemnity, continuation of service etc
Location - West Devon, commutable from likes of Okehampton and Launceston
The surgery -

• Established GP Training Practice with multiple Trainers
• Very sociable, friendly team who meet daily for coffee
• Protected time for MDT, MH and framework meetings
• Flexible start and finish times
• Outstanding MDT providing significant support to GPs, including Mental Health workers
• GP Assistants carrying out much of the time-consuming non-essential admin work
• EMIS Web

Your role -

• Salaried GP (view to Partnership available)
• 4-6 sessions per week, full-time possibly considered
• 12 patients per session consisting of 3 x 10-minute calls and 9 x 15-minute F2F
• EOL visits only for GPs - practice utilise both PCN and internal home-visiting Paramedics who see vast majority
• Duty sessions also capped at 12 patients (there is a Duty F2F GP working alongside a Duty Triage GP)
• No evenings or weekends required
• Specialisms encouraged
