Job Description

Reportng to the Team Leader, your responsibilities include:

  • Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner with the assistance of an Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Assess participants emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
  • Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants get more out of life
  • Mentor graduates and early career clinicians
  • Maintain awareness of current NDIS legislation to ensure compliance

Qualifications

You will need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Considerable experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
  • Pro-active attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
  • Experience mentoring graduates and/or early career clinicians
  • Genuine passion for working in the Disability sector
