The exciting opportunity:

  • Six month contract role where you can choose to work three, four or five days a week
  • Organise your own schedule and travel across aged care facilities, predominantly in the Perth metro area
  • Support the delivery of best practice care by developing staff capability
  • Plan, coordinate and evaluate clinical and non-clinical learning
  • Deliver formal and informal education, both in person and online
  • Interpret audit results and continuous improvement plans to ascertain what training is required at each facility
  • Support Managers to identify the skills gaps and learning needs of staff, and create and implement an education plan to address them
  • Develop toolboxes that are in line with legislation, resident needs and organisational purpose
  • Lead special education projects to ensure staff understand the strengthened aged care standards

About you:
  • Full registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in a Clinical Educator, Clinical Nurse Manager, or other training focused role in aged care
  • Proven track record developing and delivering high quality and contemporary education to staff
  • Supportive, collaborative and a passion for providing education and training to achieve best practice
  • Calm, compassionate, friendly, adaptable and able to manage conflicting priorities
