As a Specialist Cardiac Physiologist (Echocardiographer)you will undertake best practice delivery of a wide range of echocardiography procedures.

Ourechocardiography servicesinclude both outpatient& inpatient transthoracic echocardiography, exercise stress echocardiography, dobutamine stress echocardiography &assisting with transoesophagealechocardiography studies .

What you’ll do:

• You will report directly to the L ead S pecialist C ardiac P hysiologist for echocardiography & work close with our team of cardiologists.
• You will undertake best practice delivery of a wide range of echocardiography and basic electrophysiology procedures (ECG & holter monitor attachment)
• The role will also involve a range of other support functions assigned by the C linical S ervices M anager for the effective operation of the clinical services unit.

Who you are:

• You have a post graduate qualification in the field of cardiac ultrasound
• A current registration with Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
• You possess sound clinical skills in the field of echocardiography
• Excellent interpersonal & patient care skillswith t heabilitytoshowa friendly and professional approach
• You are committed to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of developments in cardiac ultrasound techniques.
• Current Australian Driver’s License and ability to work across several locations in the east/south-east Melbourne region on a rotating roster .
