The Location:

The Hospital:
In recent years the Hospital has undergone a major redevelopment totalling in excess of $50 million. The redevelopment has delivered new beds, improved services in the rehabilitation unit, as well as a new emergency department, maternity unit and special care nursery. Services available include intensive care, coronary care, obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedic surgery, general surgery, vascular surgery, 24-hour emergency medicine, pharmacy, medical imaging, pathology and comprehensive mental health services. Allied Health services include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, speech therapy, psychology and social work.
The Role
The hospital are looking for an individual to work in their busy O&G Department in what will be a reasonably senior capacity that will require supervision of more junior staff. The facility is accredited and there would be the opportunity to join the RANZCOG training program once you are accepted on to the course.
The Requirements:
Only onshore doctors with O&G experience or CA pathway doctors who already hold the Advanced Standing Certificate will be considered for this role.
