We match exceptional safety professionals with the best long-term career opportunities.The OpportunityThis is a Perth based HSE Advisor role in a workshop that has been created to help the organisation move towards an injury free environment by delivering HSEQ improvements across the facility.This is a critical role that reports to the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for the safe work practices of all employees in the business.Your DutiesProvide hands-on training and coaching to the trades and labour workforce whilst supporting growth of HSEQ ownership across the business.This opportunity is all about building rapport and engaging with the various trades in order to guide and assist them in making all the HSE information easily understandable and fit for purpose.This role will partner with leaders across the value stream to bring transformational change in the operations overall approach to Health and Safety to effect durable, systemic change.You will provide coaching to ensure the implementation of a consistent approach, ensuring compliance requirements are met and the operation is engaged in the organisations Health and Safety Vision.Design, develop and manage Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures and companywide development of SWMS and JSA documents.Report and present information to a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external.Your backgroundCert IV WHS or similar industry qualificationsICAM Lead Investigator would be desirable, not essentialCert IV Training and Assessment would also be highly regardedExperience in trades/heavy industrial workshop environmentFrontline engagement exposure with a mid-sized trades and labour workforceWhat's on Offer for you?Permanent full-time employment with a competitive remuneration packageStrong leadership team with an inclusive culture.About the Business you'll be joiningWith decades of experience, the company is a renowned provider of comprehensive industrial solutions, specialising in equipment, maintenance and hire services for the Mining Industry.Their commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence is paramount in all their operations, prioritising the well-being of their workforce, clients, and the environment.What next?You probably want to know more about the business – their products, their plans and their history.
