The role:  
You will be able to use exceptional communication, organisation and relationship management skills to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team. Your role will be responsible for managing the Delivery Services Branch Secretariat Team so that all in scope Boards/Committees/Forums are supported  by high quality, consistent secretariat support. Your role will ensure that key stakeholders are informed of actions and outcomes in a timely manner.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement a consistent approach to Governance Committee and Board secretariat practices across Delivery Services Branch.
  • Develop, implement and maintain a Secretariat toolkit that can be used and applied consistently across the Branch.
  • Manage the Secretariat Community of Practice to ensure the consistent application of secretariat services, including methods and tools across the Branch.
  • Review and continually improve maturity across secretariat practices, simplifying processes for board members and provide a seamless and consistent secretariat experience across the Branch.

Are you right for this role? 
To be considered for this role, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a diplomatic approach and the ability to liaise and relate to a wide range of stakeholders including senior and executive stakeholders. Further, the successful candidate will have demonstrated skills in advanced time management and work prioritisation skills, advanced Microsoft Office Suite.

Working closely with programs and projects, your experience will greatly assist in improving program and project governance and ensure that program and project boards are effective, consistent and have the right information to support decision making and provide direction.

Knowledge

  • ICT Governance
  • General knowledge of program and project management methodology and gateway assurance
  • Previous Executive support to Senior Management - will be highly regarded.
  • Experience working within either the Government or Health sectors will be highly regarded.
