The role  
Reporting to the Manager, Healthcare Improvement Unit, Clinical Excellence Queensland, you will uphold defined service quality standards and adhere to health and safety policies to ensure the provision of high-quality, safe services and workplaces. Your responsibilities will include completing various financial transactions such as purchase requisitions, credit card payments, and reconciliations, as well as providing comprehensive administrative support to the unit, including managing central email accounts, maintaining establishment records, and facilitating travel bookings.

Furthermore, you will collaborate across departmental divisions to obtain or provide timely information, contribute to the development and implementation of business policies and procedures, and assist in the coordination of annual stocktakes and asset management tasks. Your role will also involve supporting the Director with administrative, HR, and finance-related tasks, fostering a professional environment conducive to skills development, growth, and continuous improvement, and addressing ad hoc queries from branch staff.

The successful person
To excel in this role, you'll need advanced expertise in delivering efficient and high-quality administrative support services. Your proficiency should extend to navigating departmental procedures and reporting standards, along with adeptness in extracting, organizing, and interpreting financial data. Furthermore, you should possess a deep understanding of contemporary human resource management principles, including workplace safety, equal opportunity, and anti-discrimination, allowing you to offer guidance and leadership within team dynamics.

Moreover, you should demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and possess the autonomy to drive organizational objectives independently. Your communication skills, both verbal and written, are paramount, as is your ability to cultivate productive relationships in a collaborative team setting. Additionally, your capacity to identify areas for enhancement and implement improvements will be crucial in contributing to the overall success of the organization.
