Your opportunity: 

  • To utilise lived experience as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person into practice, to provide high quality care and support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and their families.
  • To work within a multidisciplinary team to promote integrated and culturally appropriate service provision across the continuum of care, particularly within the First 2,000 Days of life (conception to approximately five years of age).

Under 25s of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community

Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases ( https://tinyurl.com/yc6pgyt2 )(VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $83,340 p.a., comprising salary between $40.77 - $46.04 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HWF3.4 - HWF3.6) (Permanent Part Time, 60.8 hours p.f.).
