The opportunity:

• Choice of contract (minimum 3 months) or permanent
• Report into the Clinical Services Manager at a stand-alone 100 bed aged care facility
• Lead the provision and planning of clinical care for residents
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments and create and review care plans
• Orientate new residents and families into the facility, setting expectations and explaining resident choice and dignity of risk
• Provide direction, guidance, support and education a team of Nurses and Carers
• Contribute to education delivery helping staff to develop their skills and excel in their work
• Help to undertake audits and implement and review action plans, supporting a culture of continuous improvement

About you:

• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse is essential
• Must have experience in a Senior Registered Nurse, Clinical Nurse or Clinical Manager role within residential aged care
• Excellent understanding of the aged care legislation with a proven track record leading a facility through accreditation
• An eager leader who enjoys mentoring, nurturing and upskilling staff
• Energetic, committed and passionate about delivery high quality care for the benefit of residents and the community
