The Position This is a fantastic opportunity for a Renal Registrar or Nephrology AT to join the team on a full time basis. This position is suitable for fulfilling RACP requirements.
The Location The hospital is located on an idyllic part of the Queensland coast. With over 300 days of sunshine each year there is an abundance of outdoor activities. Popular attractions include Riverbank Parklands, a riverfront parkland attraction, the coastal strip and large neighbouring islands, the vast majority of which is national park.
The Facility This is 260 bed major regional hospital. Having state of the art facilities the hospital has been undergoing a number of redevelopment projects at a cost of $324 million the last of which are due to be completed later this year. The projects have included the construction of a regional cancer centre, a new Emergency Department, Rehabilitation Unit, Maternity and Paediatrics Unit, Dialysis Unit, and a Learning and Development Centre, together with the consolidation of a number of outlying services into the main Hospital complex.
The Requirements To apply you must either be:
Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience in Nephrology and Renal Medicine
On RACP training program
IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
IMG's with RACP interview date
IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
