  • 1st / 2nd Level NMC/HPC-registered Theatre Practitioner.
  • Qualified surgical first assistant (Part 1/Part 2)
  • Logical and consistent work pattern with evidence of continuing personal development.
  • Successful completion of supervised practise programme
  • Evidence of working in a team
  • Clinical knowledge and experience essential
Desirable criteria
  • Special theatre qualifications
  • Recognised teaching/-mentoring qualification
  • Supervised practice programme undertaken in an acute hospital

Getting to Work

Application can be made for parking on site at UHS or through one of the park and ride schemes. This will be based on specific criteria to determine eligibility for site parking as this can be very limited.  UHS encourages staff to utilise other green methods of getting to work such as cycling or walking where possible. UHS is well connected through bus services to the city centre and other areas.
