About you:

In your new role you will

  • Effectively and efficient management of high-quality services in collaboration with Director of Nursing and Midwifery/ Service Director, Rural and Remote Services, the Rural and Remote Management Team, and clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Effectively plan, manage and evaluate services to achieve the agreed Key Performance Indicators and targets.
  • Effective governance and oversight to ensure communication and interpretation of policies and procedures to staff and relevant committees.

About your opportunity:

In this position you will be resposible and accountable for the coordination of services within the specified facility ensuring service level agreement key performance indicators and agreed targets are being met. Provide operational leadership and management within the facility to ensure the provision of high-level services that are patient care focused and meet the needs of the community. you will be required to participate in the Facility/s on call/recall roster across rural and remote services.

About your role:

  • Provide strategic leadership to effectively plan, manage and evaluate services to achieve the organisational goals of the facility. With particular focus on the adherence to National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and accountable also for the nursing, operational and administrative budget for the facility.
  • Provide expertise in the effective management of a service budget, personnel and the delivery of services in an acute/community/primary health care facility using a quality framework and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
  • Ensure delivery of compassionate, quality care, and nursing and midwifery supervision to ensure key performance indicators are met and are in line with policy and legislative requirements.
