The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Manager (Divisional Analysis and Reporting) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

  • Oversee and coordinate the timely response to requests for data, analysis and reports within the Divisional management team
  • Employ the use of analytical tools to provide expert advice and complex analysis to the Divisional Management teams, the Senior Director and Chief Finance Officer
  • Through the development of targeted, responsive reporting and analysis, proactively identify and monitor emerging operational risks that will impact performance
  • Ensure the ongoing sustainability and coordination of enhancements to reporting and analysis systems; performance and operational modelling tools

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

  • Critical analysis, conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Whilst not mandatory, a tertiary qualification in a relevant field (clinical or non-clinical) would be well regarded
  • Experience in a health care setting in a business / operational environment would be well regarded
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
  • Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

  • Permanent full time
  • Base salary ranging from $146 510 - $155 025 per annum

Commissioning, Analysis and Reporting Services resides within Financial Services Division and consists of the following teams: Management Accounting and Budget, Activity Based Costing, ABF Analysis, Divisional Analysis and Reporting Teams. Although each team has their distinct accountabilities, the units work together to manage the efficient flow of analysis, reporting and data which informs critical strategic, operational and funding decisions.
