About the role:

In this role you will:

  • Provide, develop and maintaining an efficient, effective, ethical and confidential administrative and secretarial support service to the Clinical Director.
  • Provide accurate and timely information and assistance to clients and staff within the Health Service and external agencies.
  • Make administrative decisions relating to the interpretation of Department policies and procedures.

About you:

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Knowledge of Medical Officer Awards and employment conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and act as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team to provide an effective customer focused service.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, and the ability to perform duties on a day-to-day basis in the absence of decision makers. The ability to establish work priorities and meet deadlines when work priorities conflict.
  • High level interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with officers at all levels within a large organisation, the general public and external agencies with the possession of tact, diplomacy and discretion.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $94,810 p.a. is comprised of:

  • A salary between $37.68 - $41.90 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) requirements:

It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against vaccine preventable diseases as listed on the Role Description.
