The role 

Reporting to the Team Leader, Recruitment Services, you will provide recruitment advice and services to a defined portfolio of work. You will largely work autonomously, checking in with your colleagues and team leader as needed using a shared inbox.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing end to end recruitment administration services for a defined portfolio.
  • Providing contemporary recruitment advice in line with legislation in a complex environment.
  • Using various recruitment databases and systems HR systems including Springboard, Vader, myHR and SAP for record keeping purposes.
  • Processing Criminal History Checks for the Department of Health using internal and external systems following existing processes.

The successful person

To be successful in this role you will have specialist knowledge and experience in the delivery of contemporary recruitment services; ideally in a government setting. You will also be experienced with managing your workload to meet competing deadlines and client requests.

Furthermore you will have high level communication, interpersonal, liaison and consultation skills which will allow you to build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide HR advice in a complex environment.

Highly desirable skills

  • Job evaluation management (JEMs) experience
  • Adaptable and quick learner with computer systems

The Recruitment Services Team is comprised of two recruitment teams who process recruitment for the whole of Department of Health. These roles will be providing recruitment services for mostly corporate based roles, you will be initially be based at 33 Charlotte Street, Brisbane with some flexibility available once settled into the role.
