The Metro South Child and Youth Mental Health Service Consultation Liaison Team (CYMHS CL) supports the paediatric inpatient units at Logan and Redland Hospitals. The Clinical Nurse Consultant provides direct and indirect care as required and works in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager, Nurse Educator and wider CYMHS CL health care team support the clinical unit in provision of safe quality healthcare through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice for the specialty of CYMHS CL.• Responsible for clinical leadership for CYMHS CL services through the application of advanced clinical knowledge, skills and competency according to contemporary practice and standards of care.• Maintain high level of interpersonal and negotiation skills to inform and train the healthcare team of clinical practice updates and research findings within CYMHS CL area.• Utilise advanced clinical skills and expertise to support nurses in patient care planning, delivery and education.Find out about the role in more detail and how to apply in the attached Role Description.Our ICARE² values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence , shape our culture within Metro South Health.
