We are looking for an exceptional occupational therapist who wakes up every day with a desire to see our clients thrive and lead the life they want to live. 

As a Strive to Thrive therapist, you will be our clients' personal cheerleader, empowering people with disabilities to live their life with purpose and achieve their goals. We provide meaningful OT services for NDIS (adults only), Home Care Package and DVA clients.

Tasks & responsibilities

In order to thrive in this role, you will be expected to…

  • Travel to provide in-home client assessment and interventions (functional assessments, assistive technology, minor home modifications and capacity building)
  • Complete thorough reports to achieve exceptional client outcomes
  • Regularly liaise and interact with relevant stakeholders (family, supports, support coordinator, equipment suppliers etc)
  • Have a desire to continually build your scope of practice in working with clients who have physical, intellectual and psychosocial disabilities
  • Effectively manage your own caseload in order to meet client and stakeholder expectations

Qualifications & experience
  • Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude and positive approach
  • Genuine commitment to continuous improvement
  • Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration
  • 1+ years clinical experience preferred, however, applicants with a desire to thrive in their role will be considered
  • Prior NDIS experience is highly regarded, however, not necessary
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a suitable, fully insured vehicle
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue and Yellow Card, First Aid and CPR & Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
