ABOUT THE ROLE

We are welcoming a Radiologist to join our fully comprehensive practice in the heart of Mackay , only 1hr 1/2 flight from Brisbane. Truly influencing community health, you will enjoy collaborating with a well-established referral base of doctors and specialist, you will be working in tandem with our onsite radiologist and a highly skilled patient focused team that are dedicated to providing a quality service to the Whitsunday region. 

Offering state-of-the-art equipment and variety of case load to include MRI and Interventional in a supportive environment as being part of a respected collegiate of radiologists in the South Coast Radiology and IDX group.

Fellowship of the RANZCR and eligibility for AHPRA specialist registration Excellent communication skills with an interest in clinical meeting participation with referrers Experience in General Radiology, MRI, CT, Mammography, Ultrasound & Interventional procedures. (We will consider newly qualified radiologists who possess necessary attributes) A desire to work in a highly supported work environment using advanced imaging technology and infrastructure systems, including state-of-the-art modalities, PACS and integrated RIS

We treat cancer-diagnosed illnesses using specialised treatments, like VMAT and SABR. We also offer non-surgical skin cancer treatments.The practice operates on an Elekta platform and an Eclipse planning system and uses the Mosaiq Oncology Information System. Currently the Linacs are capable of VMAT, IMRT, OBI and DIBH, as well as SABR and stereotactic cranial treatment.
