What are we looking for?
  • An experienced speech pathologist with a passion for therapy and leadership to supervise our fantastic team of Speech Pathologists. 
  • This role is a full-time position based at our metro clinics in South Lake, Ellenbrook and Balcatta, or at our Kalgoorlie clinic. Part-time options can be discussed.
  • The Speech Pathology Supervisor will maintain their own caseload in addition to supervisory duties.

What will you be doing?
  • Leading a diverse team of speech pathologists to ensure best practice therapy and services is provided to all of our clients, including via telehealth.
  • Diagnosing, treating and preventing speech and language disorders.
  • Educating patients and family members about speech disorders and causes.
  • Conduct autism diagnostic assessments (training will be provided as required). 
  • Providing multi-disciplinary supervision to our allied health team.
  • Ensuring adequate reporting and record keeping.
  • Working alongside and consulting with other health professionals at One Central Health including psychologists, occupational therapists, and PBS clinicians, as part of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintaining a high-quality general standard of care for clients and their families.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest findings and developments in the international field of speech therapy to ensure clients are always receiving the best standard of care possible.
  • Supporting clients within the clinic, educational placements, homes, and within the community.
  • Autism assessment training can be provided.
What do you need?
  • Demonstrated achievement or capability in the areas appropriate to the Position Description.
  • Leadership and managerial qualities.
  • A high level of written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • To be comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
  • To be able to manage a caseload with varying presentations.
  • To have the ability to assess client conditions and work with treatment plans.
  • Registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA). 
  • A bachelor’s degree in speech pathology.
  • A Working with Children Check. 
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • A current driver's license and reliable car.
