Head of Care (Clinical Manager) - Aged Care

Superior Care Group is seeking an outstanding motivated aged care professional with leadership aspirations to lead the Care team at our 96 place aged care service, Merrimac Park Private Care, located at Merrimac. This service provides high care and dementia care.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervision and accountability of clinical care; 
  • Responsible for all clinical care;
  • Accountability for clinical accreditation standards;
  • Investigation and reporting per the Serious Incident Response Scheme;
  • Overseeing AN-ACC with the AN-ACC Liaison;
  • Resident care plan development using the Lee Care clinical documentation system;
  • QPS- Responsibility of QPS benchmarking reporting
  • Maintaining family relationships, negotiating care planning outcomes;
  • Staff education and professional development;
  • Recruitment, rostering , phone support and human resource management in liaison with the Centre Manager.

Important Personal Qualities

  • Aged Care experience is essential
  • Minimum two years experience at clinical management level required;
  • Highly organised, excellent time-management;
  • Aptitude for conquering challenges and learning new ideas;
  • A natural “people person" who enjoys resolving interpersonal problems;
  • Passionate about workplace culture, creating a workplace which is filled with love, respect and fun;
  • A professional demeanor, able to operate at a high-pressure executive level;

The successful candidate will be a high-energy Registered Nurse with a passion for excellent resident care and developing a caring respectful workforce. Current AHPRA registration and National police Check are mandatory.
