ABOUT THE ROLE:

Summary of the role: We are looking for a friendly professional person with strong admin and exceptional customer service skills to join our Patient Services Team as an Admin Officer in the Day Surgery Unit.

  • Fixed Term Part Time Position - Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays
  • Dates: 13 May to 30 August 2024
  • Hours: 0630-1500
  • Admitting and discharging patients, contacting patients confirming their details, supporting clinical staff with admin tasks, checking/printing theatre lists ensuring paperwork is signed and completed, preparing packs for patients going to theatre.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Previous experience in a health setting and a knowledge of iPM desirable
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills with exceptional customer service
  • Accurate data entry and well-developed computer skills
  • Enthusiastic, motivated with a strong work ethic and 'can do' attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
