Senior Safety Advisor – FIFO

Who we’re looking for:

Getting our people home safely to their families every day is our top priority, and your role is vital in influencing Project Managers to achieve health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) excellence. You will be a natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills and strong technical expertise to:

  • Steer the development and implementation of HSEQ standards that align with compliance and due diligence requirements.
  • Undertake audits and inspections.
  • Work closely with senior management to prepare reports.
  • Motivate and educate BMD employees to champion best practice use of our systems.
  • Develop work method statements, project plans, and inspection and test plans.
  • Implement system changes and improvements to demonstrate continuous improvement.
Skills and experience:

Certificate IV or Diploma in work health and safety, knowledge of current legislation, standards and industry requirements, excellent verbal and written communication skills, passionate about excellent health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes.
