About Us

We are a privately owned emergency and specialist veterinary hospital, boasting a 24-hour Advanced Treatment Centre equipped with cutting-edge technology and world-class facilities. Our team hasrapidly grown from 35 to over 200 passionate veterinary professionals since our inception in June2020. Our surgical nurse team has over 25 nurses so there are lots of people to learn from!

About You:

As a Surgery Mobile Nurse, you will bring an open mind, adaptability, a willingness to learn, andexcellent communication skills. Embrace a collaborative team environment, share knowledge,techniques, and experiences, and maintain a positive culture with a "can-do" attitude. Be prepared to drive our sprinter-size van to various clinics across Sydney and assist specialist surgeons in a variety of exciting procedures.

About the Role:

Your responsibilities will include preparing equipment and patients for surgery, driving the workvehicle to clinics, and scrubbing in to assist specialist surgeons. This role offers a unique learning opportunity, providing one-on-one experiences with specialists. Full-time positions are 4 days a week (38 hours), while part-time roles require a minimum of 2 days per week (minimum 22 hours). Noweekend work is required, but flexibility for late finishes is essential.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Certificate IV in nursing is essential, with a minimum of 2 years in-hospital experience.• Strong interest in surgery and instrumentation; we'll teach you unique skills like performing

epidurals and handling surgical instruments.• Minimal animal restraint and client interaction, allowing you to focus on your surgical

expertise.• Ideal candidates will reside in the Southern part of Sydney to reduce commute time.
