About the role

Welcome to our 37 – 41 bed Orthopaedic ward, where you will fast-paced, friendly, and welcoming team environment.

  • This role is pivotal in delivering safe and effective patient care at consistently high standards, resulting, resulting in positive patient outcomes.
  • Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager , you will work under the supervision and direction of Registered Nurses, ensuring seamless support in our patient – centred care approach.

About You

To excel in this position, you should possess a genuine passion care and a strong commitment to providing customer-focused service at the highest standard.

Your outstanding communication and interpersonal skills will be instrumental in thriving within our team-oriented environment and fostering positive relationships with colleagues, patients and their families.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Holds a Certificate III in Health Services or Aged Care or current enrolment in a Diploma / Bachelor in Nursing
  • Recent acute hospital experience in a similar position is desirable.
  • Moderate understanding of medical terminology
  • Sound computer skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently as required.
