Surgical Registered Nurse to join us in a permanent part-time night duty role! We are offering 48 hours per fortnight to the right candidate.

About the Role

Our Surgical Ward at Strathfield Private Hospital has a permanent night-duty opportunity available for a Registered Nurse.

The successful candidate will be joining our 21 bed unit, that offers a diverse specialty caseload including urology, gynaecology, plastics and ENT.

Your Skills and Experience

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum four (4) years’ experience in an acute hospital setting
• Experience in a surgical ward essential
• Relevant post-graduate qualifications will be highly regarded
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

This is a permanent night duty position. Availability to work across night duty shifts is essential to be considered.

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) (FTE 68,033.68 - $95,500.08)

About Our Hospital

Strathfield Private Hospital has been servicing the community of Sydney’s inner west for over 30 years and is owned by global hospital group Ramsay Health Care. We cater for a broad range of health care needs from day surgery procedures to highly complex surgery.

Strathfield Private is a teaching hospital for Sydney University, conveniently located 200 metres from Strathfield Train Station. Our facilities encompass 84 beds, 7 operating theatres, 1 endoscopy suite, 1 cardiac catheterisation lab, a 10 bed Intensive Care Unit and a Day Surgery Unit. We also have onsite radiology, pathology, café and specialist consulting suites.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require aWorking-With-Children check andproof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
