Position Summary

Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital.

Reporting to the Director of Care, the Clinical Practice Leader contributes to the delivery of patient care and the enhancement of professional nursing practice through clinical practice, practice assessment and development, clinical consultation, quality improvement, care coordination and other leadership activities. Clinical Practice Leaders work as part of the leadership team and work collaboratively with others to positively impact patient care and nursing practice.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days, 07:00 to 15:00

Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is a 24-bed facility that sees an average of 22,000 ER visits per year. It is a fully equipped facility with Medical Imaging, Laboratory, ICU, ER and Maternity. Services include:
• Acute Care
• Internal medicine
• Internal Medicine

• CT scans
• Surgery
• Emergency department
• Extended care
• Pediatrics
• Radiology
• Obstetrics
• Gynecology
Additional services such as Diabetes Education, Healthy Heart and Rehabilitation, Podiatry, Orthopedics, and other visiting specialists.

Qualifications

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
• Three (3) years recent related clinical experience and demonstrated clinical competence (knowledge, skills, attitude and judgment) pertinent to the relevant clinical setting.
